A brand new world
The sparrow cheeps heap, heap, hurray
Awake, we’ve got a brand-new day
After the deluge of pollution
The million dewdrops of the night
Are conjured by a ray of light
In brilliant diamonds of illusion
And all at once the world is clear and bright
With rosy children playing with a kite
And proudly all the flowers in full bloom
Are charming with their colors and perfume
In all the ditches, lakes and in the creeks
The frogs are gaily croaking out of tune
We’ve got a brand-new world with a brandnew belief
And in brand-new brains are growing brand-new ideas
We’ve got a brand-new world with a brand-new belief
And a brand-new Adam loves a brand-new Eve
A butterfly floats in the air
Hurray, I’m breathing without care
Is her remarkable conclusion
No dirty smell of chemicals
Or sulfur in the rain that falls
After the deluge of pollution
A cricket plays the violin at noon
A trout is sparkling like a fool buffoon
And in the hushed hours of the afternoon
We can expect the stately swallow soon
When through the clouds appears the smiling moon
The frogs are still croaking out of tune
We’ve got a brand-new world with a brand-new belief
And in brand-new brains are growing brand-new ideas
We’ve got a brand-new world with a brand-new belief
And a brand-new Adam loves a brand-new Eve
